The fertile land of Patterson Farm is currently leased to the award-winning farmers of Charlann Farms. Farmers Sam Stewart, his nephew Timmy Stewart, and their family are lifelong farmers whose heritage of farming in Bucks County spans several generations.
America faces a critical shortage in young farmers to replace those who retire. Sam and Timmy are part of the solution to this problem. Sam is actively mentoring the next generation of farmers. Timmy has dedicated his life to pursuing a career in agriculture as his uncle and grandfather did before him. Essential to the successful education of a future
agriculturist is the mentorship of a seasoned farmer.
Sam is passing along the wisdom he learned from his father and from his own experience in the field.
The Stewart family regularly give back to the community by contributing a portion of their crops to a local food pantry. Produce grown on Patterson Farm may be purchased at Charlann Farms' store on Stony Hill Road in Yardley, PA.
